We are talking to a number of potential partners at the moment about setting up manufacturing in the US. This is looking like it will go ahead in the near future and will mean that kits are manufactured in the US to the same specification that they are made here. Appart from keeping down the shipping costs this will also remove the duty that has to be paid on import.
As part of this partnership we will also be looking at exporting Smart Car rolling chassis to the US for conversion.
